Biography:
Mark is a teacher of physical education and teacher in charge of outdoor education at The Wey Valley School, Weymouth. He has taken part in and run many expeditions. These have included trips to Nepal, Colorado, Spain, French Alps and Mt. Rainier. Mark is Very involved in the delivery of the outdoor and residential programme at the Wey Valley School.
Mark is a keen runner and dog walker. His other interests include white water kayaking, mountaineering, power boating and outside classical music concerts.

Clive BurgessAssistant Leader

Biography:
Clive has been leading youth expeditions for the last 20 years. He is a founding member of the Dorset Expeditionary Society and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. His ventures have taken him all over the world including Canada, Colorado, Equator, French Alps, Alaska, Switzerland and Mt Rainier.
Clive is head of year 11 at the Wey Valley School, Weymouth and teaches modern foreign languages. His other interests include cycling, mountaineering, hill walking, philosophy, poetry and sea gulls.

Richard EdgeleyAssistant Leader

Biography:
Married to Karen. 2 children Rosie(10) and Tom (8). Been involved in sport all my life, mainly team sports - cricket and rugby. Got into mountain biking last 3 years, enjoy day long hacks and completed a couple of Polaris challenge events. Looking forward to the adventure and challenge of the expedition.

Biography:
Paul has been involved with the Dorset Expeditionary Society since taking part in an expedition to Alaska in 1997. As well as Alaska Paul has travelled to Canada and various destinations across Europe including France, Austria and Spain. Paul has been a keen mountain biker for the past 15 years. When not mountain biking Paul can be found either surfing or snowboarding.
Other interests include Marathon running, sea swimming, Volunteer Lifeguarding and hiking.

Biography:
Gary formed part of the mountain bike Spain expedition of 2001. He's been mountain biking for 9 years and has ridden in the French Alps and Spain as well as occasionally racing. Gary plays regularly for Weymouth Rugby Club First XV.
Other interests include snowboarding, climbing and wakeboarding, playing with motorbikes and his v-dub camper!
